How to Get Music from your iPod to your Computer

Have you ever had a computer crash and lost all your music? If you have the music on your iPod you can get all that back on your computer with this simple to use freeware program, SharePod.

Once this program is installed, connect our iPod into your computer and start SharePod. Note: Make sure iTunes is closed.


At this point you should make a folder that you want to put all these songs in.


Once the program opens it should recognize your iPod and display the songs. Highlight all the songs you want and then click the 'copy to pc' button at top. A window will pop up asking you where you would like to put the songs. Select the folder you should have made and hit ok.

Now it should be copying the songs to your computer. Once it is done you can add the folder to iTunes, and all your songs are back. Note: Once all the songs are back in iTunes, you will need to erase and resync your iPod.
